Greg Nordberg BSc MSc joined JWA in September 2013 after completing a Masters in Civil Engineering at UCL. While at UCL he undertook a dissertation concerning the design of tensegrity based bamboo roof supports and his design for a speculative Antarctic research station was awarded a best project prize by iStructE (North Thames Region). He has a broad interest in design having started off studying architecture at the Bartlett and won the 2008 Noilly Prat Prix de la Sculpture for a scented steam-bent oak structure entitled Madeleine. He continues to produce sculptures and furniture and will commonly be found covered in a combination of sawdust, plaster and clay.
